A public meeting was called by the Clerk to St Dominic Parish Council in October 1949, at the request of St Dominic Women’s Institute. It was agreed thereat, that a Parish Hall was needed, and should be built.
The foundation Stone was laid in August 1973 by Mrs F Reep and Dr W T L Kingdom.
Good things come to those who wait.

Don’t forget that the Parish Hall belongs to you, and is available to hire for your meetings, parties, weddings, Christenings - just about anything. There are people in the parish who have never been inside, and might not be aware that it will hold over 100 people. The kitchen has two cookers, fridge, an electric urn that provides constant boiling water for tea, coffee etc. and enough crockery and cutlery for the 100.
